On-the-job training means that students learn the trade directly in the workplace, at a recognized training company. The classroom is the workplace, the training location is the workplace, simply “on the floor” with colleagues, “real” guests and fellow students. This takes place under the supervision of both practical supervisors in the workplace and teachers from the ROC van Amsterdam-Flevoland.
House of Hospitality connects the partners in the network from the business community with vocational education. Students follow a recognized MBO program and develop their skills in the heart of the sector, in hotels, restaurants, event venues or other hospitality organizations.
